Forest Lake Estates Co-Operative was formed in May of 1999 as a Florida not-for-profit corporation.

The purpose was to purchase this community and develop it on the basis that any and all profits would be returned to the community in form of improved facilities, improved services and, wherever possible, maintain or reduce costs.

This has been mandated by law to benefit all who reside here. To sustain the inherent tax advantages of this type of corporation, this community must be operated on a strictly fiscal basis, verified and monitored by the IRS.

We believe that we have created a unique opportunity for those who wish to settle here and enjoy this style of retirement life.
